Though there has been no official confirmation regarding the Samsung’s flagship mobile but according to the new leaks of Galaxy S8 plus on Geekbench Benchmarking website the phone lags way behind an year old iPhone 7 Plus.

The device was listed as SM-G955U, which is expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. It shows the specifications of the mobile with single core and dual core performances.

As listed it would feature a 4 GB ram, with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and run on android 7.0 Nougat, as expected. The single core performance of the handset scores 1929 which is way behind the iPhone 7 Plus score of 3305.

Reportedly the phone will come in two variants with screen sizes-5.5 inches and 6.2 inches. It is also said to feature an Iris scanner which debuted with disastrous Note 7. The phone will feature an entirely new design with fingerprint scanner on the back to give the 90% ratio to screen and display.

The camera mentioned is a 12 MP rear camera with a 8 MP front facing camera. Samsung has still not introduced the dual camera in its smartphones.

The phone is expected to launch in April with the price tag around 60,000 for the entry level model and 70,000 for the premium model.
